B. An ox of a man means a very strong man. Lencho was a hard working farmer. He worked hard in the field. His faith in God, made him to write letter to God.

C. The line which suggests that Lencho was literate is - he began to write a letter..

D. Lencho had asked God to send him a hundred pesos. But when he opened the envelope he found only seventy pesos in it. He thought that the post-office employees had taken the rest of the money. So he became angry when he received the letter.
