Explanation: (a) one day Newton was sitting in his garden near an apple tree ,he saw an apple fall from the tree.

              (b) when Newton asked other pupil they answered  that the object falls on the ground because there is nothing to keep them up.

                      (c) Newton was the not satisfied with the answer of the other pupil because he thought there was no logic in the answer.

                    (d) All things fall on the ground because the earth pulls all objects towards it (gravitational force)

                  (e)Newton's law of gravitation is valid anywhere in the universe hence it is called the universal law of gravitation.
