The term "Hindustan" was used in the the thirteenth country by Minhaj-i-siraj ,a who wrote it in Persian . He used the term to indicate the areas of Punjab, Haryana and the lands between the Ganga and Yamuna . He applied the tab in the political Sense for lands which where a part of dominions of the Delhi Sultan
