(a) What happens to a ray of light when it travels from one medium to
another having equal refractive indices ?
(b) State the cause of refraction of light.

(b) Due to differnt refractive index of light rays and different speed the refraction of light is possible

Causes of refraction of Light :
Refraction of light occurs because light travels with different speed in different medium which have different refractive indices.
Hence we see bending of pencil in water, difficult to shoot a fish in water,cannot make out real depth of swimming pool.
