Answer:

In chemistry, a saturated compound is a chemical compound that resists the addition reactions, such as hydrogenation, oxidative addition, and binding of a Lewis base. The term is used in many contexts and for many classes of chemical compounds. Overall, saturated compounds are less reactive than unsaturated compounds

Saturated solution :

A solution in which no more solute can be dissolved at that particular temperature and pressure is known as a Saturated solution.

eg:

when we add sugar in water it will get dissolved but if we add excess sugar ( solute ) than it can't get dissolved completely such a solution is called as saturated solution

( The next stage of Saturated solution is super Saturated solution)

Unsaturated solution :

A solution in which the solute can be dissolved at that particular temperature and pressure is known as Unsaturated solution. ( solute concentration is less in Unsaturated solution)

eg:

when we less amount of solute to more amount of solvent .

It becomes Unsaturated solution..

Hope this is useful. ....
