a) An electric circuit are closed path, with three main components (switch, battery and device) where electrons are able to flow.

b) Closed Circuit

A circuit where the all the main 3 parts (switch, battery and device) are connected with help of a wire is called a closed circuit. Electricity will flow.

Open Circuit

A circuit where the all the main 3 parts (switch, battery and device) are not connected with help of a wire is called a open circuit. Electricity will not flow.

c) A diagram which shows the arrangement of various electrical circuit with help of their symbols is called a schematic diagram.

d) Current flows through a closed circuit.

e) In a closed circuit current flows from positive terminal to negative terminal of the cell.

f) In an open circuit is always in opened/straight position.

Answer:

a) Electrical circuit is a closed path of wires and electrical components which allows a current through it on the application of potential difference between two points in the path.

b) Open Circuit -An open circuit is defined to be basically a circuit where the energy is not flowing through it.

Closed Circuit - A closed-circuit is defined to be the one where the energy is allowed to flow through it by turning it on.

c) A diagram which shows the arrangement of various electrical circuit with help of their symbols is called a schematic diagram.

d) Current flows through a closed circuit.

e) In a closed circuit current flows from positive terminal to negative terminal of the cell.

f) In an open circuit is always in switch on position.
