Explanation:

a)Diamonds are completely made up of carbon substance so that they created as carbon atoms under a highest temperature and pressure; they bond with one another to start growing crystals

b)The structure of diamond forms four single bonds in which each and every carbon shares electrons with other four  carbon atoms and it has a electronic arrangement of 2,4

c)Each carbon atom is bonded covalently to other four carbon atoms so that the diamond possess a covalent structure and has a numerous number of covalent bonds and bonds between them are comparatively strong thats why the diamond having  highest melting point
