Hello friend!!

(a) Periodicity of elements is the appearance of similar properties of elements after regular intervals because of similar electronic configuration.

(b) As we go from left to right across a period, number of valence electrons increase by one but number of shells remain the same. Hence, slowly, the nuclear pull on the valence electrons increases and it can easily accept electrons...

Thanks???
Mention not... :)
