(a) What is the colour of ferrous sulphate crystals? How does this colour change after heating?

The ferrous sulphate crystals are green in color and when you heat them up the color changes to brown.
FeSO4.xH2O ---(heating)--> Fe2O3 (brown in color) + SO2 + SO3 + xH2O (evaporated)
