Dear friend,
a) The difference between displacement reaction and double displacement reaction is -
#Displacement reaction is the reaction in which an element takes the place of another element in a compound. Ex: Zn + CuSo4 = ZnSO4 + Cu .
#Double displacement reaction is the reaction in which an atom or a group of atoms are exchanged to form two new compounds.
Ex: NaOH + HCl = NaCl + H2O.
b) The reaction in which two substances containing soluble salts when react in aqueous solution forms an insoluble salt is called precipitation reaction.
Ex:Ca(OH)2 + CO2 = CaCO3(p) + H2O
Hope it helps you!!

A) Displacement reaction means the highly reactive metal will displace a less reactive metal in there salt solution.
ex-fe+cuso4-feso4+cu
Double displacement reaction-those reaction in which 2 different atoms or groups of atoms are exchanged .
for ex-bacl2+na2so4=baso4+nacl
