Answer:

In scientific contexts, mass is the amount of "matter" in an object (though "matter" may be difficult to define), whereas weight is the force exerted on an object by gravity. In other words, an object with a mass of 1.0 kilogram weighs approximately 9.81 newtons on the surface of the Earth, which is its mass multiplied by the gravitational field strength. Thus the object's weight is less on Mars, where gravity is weaker

Mass is the amount of matter contained in a body.

Mass of the body is the constant quantity and does not change with the change of position or location.

Weight is the force exerted by a body when it is in a gravitational field. It depends upon the gravitational field

Weight of the body is the variable quantity and changes with the change in position and location due to the acceleration of the gravity acting on it. Yes they are used at different places and time.

Since the matter contained in a body is same at any location the mass of the body is same on both Earth and Mars and at any place.

The weight of the body depends upon the gravitational field and acceleration due to gravity at that place since the acceleration due to gravity is not same on Earth and Mars, the weight of the body is different on earth and on Mars.
