1) Coal is obtained from Carbon (a non metal) and thus it does not shows d property of malleability or ductility.. Whereas Lead is a metal and thus it is both malleable and ductile.

2) Malleability is the ability of a material to deform under stess (compressive stress). If a material is malleable then it can be converted into thin sheets by hammering or rolling. Ductility of a material is the ability to stretch under stress (tensile stress).... Generally many metals have high malleability and ductility.
