(a) What should be the value of a if the value of 2x2+x-a equals to 5, when x=0? and in 2x2 it is not 2 multiplyed by 2 it is 2 multiplyed by x

When $x=0$, the value of $f(x)$ equals to 5.

That means $f(0)=5$.

$f(0)=a$

$f(0)=5$

∴ $a=5$

The value of a is 5.
