the child in the poem vocation wants to become a hawker agar din a and a watchman because he wants to lead his life in his own way and enjoy his freedom. thethe first Avenger the lines that tells us about the child wish if I wish I were a hawker spending My day in the road crying bangles crystal bangles he said that lines because he wanted to spend his day with his freedom without any Hari in the second stanza the child says I wish you a gardener digging away at the garden with nobody to stop me from the games this basically is the wish of this child in which he said that he wanted to spend his day under the sun without worrying to get his clothes dirtyin the third danger he expressed his third wish by saying I wish I were a watchman walking the street or night changing shadows with my lantern he said that line because he wanted to stay awake till late night without needing to worry about sleeping
