A wheel goes a distance of 2200m in 100 revolutions. Find the area of the wheel.

wheel covers (2200/100) m in one round

wheel covers 22m in one round

circumference of wheel = 22m

(2*22*r)/7 = 22

2*22*r = 22*7

2*r = 7

r = 7/2

radius = 3.5 m

Now,

area of wheel  =(22*3.5 *3.5)/7 

area of wheel = 38.5 m^2
