Radius of the wheel (r)=28cm

Distance covered by 1revolution = circumference

of the wheel(C)

= 2πr

=2×22/7×28

= 2×22×4

= 176cm

Let the number of revolutions

to travel 704 m = n

n = 704m/C

= 70400cm/176cm

= 400

Therefore,

In 400 revolutions the wheel

travel 704m .
