Answer:

\red\star The Number of revolutions made by a wheel of radius of 28cm to travel 704 m = 400.

SOLUTION

Radius of the wheel = 28cm.

One Revolution of the Wheel = Circumference of the wheel

Circumference of the Wheel = 2πr

Let us Put ,

r = 28 and π = 22/7

Then,

\sf Circumference \: of  \: the \: Wheel = 2 * \dfrac{22}{7} * 28

\implies

Circumference of the Wheel = 2 × 22 × 4

∴ The Circumference of the Wheel = 176 cm.

\sf Number \: of \: revolutions \; made \; by \; the \; wheel = \dfrac{Total  \: Distance  \:Covered }{Circumference  \: of  \: the \: wheel}

Here,

Circumference of the Wheel = 176 cm.

Total Distance Covered = 704 m = 704 × 100 = 70400 cm.

\sf Number \: of \: revolutions \; made \; by \; the \; wheel = \dfrac{70400 }{176}

∴ The Number of revolutions made by the wheel = 400.
