A wheel makes 1000 revolutions in covering a distance of 88 km. Find the radius of the wheel.

area of circle =pie r^2

perimeter of circle =2pier =2*22/7*r=1000*88*18/5=

r=1000*88*18/5*1/2*7/22=50.4

Just convert the unit to meter for convenience.....

Circumference of circle = 2 pi R

Distance covered = 88000 m

Revolution = 1000.. So

Revolution = distance covered/ circumference

1000 = 88000/2 Pi R

That gives.... R = 44/ Pi

That is... R= 2*7 =14 m.. That's it
