Answer:

Is being self-conscious a form of weakness?

Yes it can be a weakness and can also limit you from your full potential. The thing about being self conscious is that you would always be concerned with what people would say about you that you end up nothing doing anything.

Self consciousness is tied to fear but not just fear of others but fear for and of yourself. You begin to overthink issues and eventually you end up not even taking that first step.

Self consciousness can also limit you while limiting people who work for you. A staff brings up a beautiful plan and immediately you sense a tiny loophole and abandon the idea because you worry of what would happen if others see the tiny loophole.

The world is not built for self conscious people because no matter what you do, you would have to deal with the naysayers and critics failing to realise that such people would move you to your destination.

So summon up courage and take that step besides, the worst anyone would do is to laugh at you and who says they arent laughing already
