1) deoxyribonucleic copying mistake leads to variation in offspring because when the dna copies are produced in the nucleus they are slightly different from the parents

2) it is beneficial because if the parent species got some diseases then the offspring can evaluate and can become emun to that particular diseases this can stop the spread of the disease in the species

3) yes it is said like this because during sexual reproduction two individual parents are required and hence there 23 chromosome are involved from each parent and hence there is more chances of variation in the offspring
