A white coloured salt is kept with the atmosphere turns grey name the white salt,write its chemical eq. And give reason why it is turned grey

The white coloured salt is silver chloride that is, Agcl it is white in colour but when it is kept in outer atmosphere in presence of sunlight then by photo decomposition the silver and chlorine get decomposed and hence get separated.

Chemical equation can be written as :-

2Agcl + sunlight = 2Ag + cl2
