1. silver chloride turns grey in sunlight to form silver metal

2. it helps in decomposition to form Cl[gas] & Ag{metal} which is grey in color.

3. 2AgCl(s)in presence of sunlight = 2Ag(s) +Cl2

4. Photolitic decomposition reaction

answer:

White substance X on exposure to sunlight turns grey name the substance x and grey product. The substance X is chloride.

1..Silver chloride, the White coloured substance turned grey in sunlight to create silver metal. When chloride is kept in sun, it decomposes to make chlorine gas and silver metal.

2. It helps in decomposition to create Cl[gas] & Ag which is grey in colour. A chemical change is initiated by absorbing energy within the sort of light. Molecules on the absorption of energy (photon) get into a transient state and are available to decompose.

3. The statement of reactants and products

2AgCl(s)in presence of sunlight = 2Ag(s) +cl2

chlorine gas is evolved.

4. Photo decomposition is the name given to such sorts of reactions.
