Explain how the Nazis gained a following and rose to power. c) Compare the treatment of the Jews in Nazi Germany at this time to the treatment of blacks in America at the same time. Specifically look at the condition of Germany and the United States economically and politically, and explain laws in both countries that were created in each to target Jews and blacks.

Adolf Hitler, an Austrian by birth, had fought in the German army during the first world war and had attained the rank of a corporal. In 1919,he joined a small political group called "The German Workers party ' which was based in Munich. Soon he became its leader and changed its leader.
