Step-by-step explanation:

Let the initial price of machine be 100

SP of wholesaler = 100 +(100*20/100) = 120

CP for shopkeeper = 120

SP for shopkeeper = 120 +( 120*25/100) = 150

Difference in Sp of the shopkeeper and the wholesaler is 150-120 = 30

According to question

30 = 129

100 = 430

Therefore the initial price of the machine is Rs430
