a)We know that acidic nature of acid arises due to the formation of H+ ions in the presence of water. So in the absence of water, acid shows no acidic character.

b)Acid in an aqueous solution dissociates to form H+ ions which can conduct electricity.

c)Distilled water does not have any impurities. For the conduction of electric ity, presence of impurities like acids, bases and salts are required. Rain water, as it flows from the atmosphere, dissolves gases like CO2 and forms acids which dissociates to give H+ ions, thus conducting electricity.
