a) Aluminum not corrode because when aluminum comes in contact with air, it forms protective covering around it. i. e aluminum anodized , a thin layer of aluminum oxide is formed. and this layer prevent aluminum from further corrosion.

b) Anodizing : The process in which metals like copper, aluminum are coated with thin and strong layer of their oxides by electrolysis. It is done to protect metals like aluminum and copper from corrosion.
