a) Why does India attract tourists?

Answer:- India can be a tourist's paradise because it attracts tourists from worldwide. India have a huge geographical nature consisting of Himalayas, seas, deserts, mountains, forests, rivers, lakes etc. In historical, India have caves, forts, palaces and havelis which are most attractive for some.

Cultural diversity in north, south parts of India, including various kinds of foods, festival and dresses are attractive to tourists.

b) How tourism helps in the development or our country?

Answer:- Tourism has a special significance in India. The tourism sector is one of the top service industries in the country.Tourism promotes employment opportunities for unemployed persons in India. there is also a large means of earning of people working in tourism sectors. It is considered as a strong medium for economic development.

c) Why is tourism considered as trade?

Answer:- Tourism is a trip intended to enjoy moments of entertainment or rest and it can be considered as a trade. When a tourist visits a tourist destination, they would always like to buy some cultural and traditional thing especially related to that place as a memory. And in that way tourism supports trade.
