As we move across the peroid the number electrons goes on increasing due to which the nuclear charge increses and thus the the atomic radius and size of the atom decreases...
Helium and neon are inert gases as they have fulfilled electron shells. ..

Answer:
a) atomic radius decrease
b) filled all the shell of electron (saturated)
Explanation:
- A) as we go from left to right election increase & nuclear charges also increase so the atomic radius DECREASE
- B) helium and lithium are inert gas as they have full filled thair shells
