Answer:

A) The human development does not undergo metamorphosis because the human does not have different stages with different forms like butterfly ( pupa, cocoon). The growth of human is stable.

B) A hormone released by the thyroid gland is a signal for metamorphosis in many amphibians like frogs. If the water in which tadpoles are growing is deficient in iodine , the tadpoles fail to grow and cannot become adult frogs.

C) Thyroxine is the hormone that controls metamorphosis in amphibians. As you know, rising blood levels of thyroxine elicit metamorphosis in frog tadpoles.
