Work = Force × distance

Force = mass × gravitational acceleration

Force = 50× 10 = 500N

Work = 500 × 6 = 3000 Joules

Power = Work done /Time

Time = 1 × 60 × 60 = 3600s

P = 3000/3600

P = 0.83333

This is power output.

Efficiency = power output /power input × 100%

0.83333/P × 100 = 20

83.333 = 20P

P = 83.333/20

P = 4.16665 Joules per second

This is the power of the mill.

Power=Energy/Time

=m×g×h/T =50×6×10/3600=5/6

Efficiency =Output/Input

20/100=5/6×1/ Input (P)

power = Input=25/6=4.1666
