Answer:

Winter is one of the most important seasons in India. It is a part of the four seasons that occur in India. Winters are the coolest season that starts from December and last till March. The peak time when winter is experienced the most in December and January. In India, winters hold great importance. In addition, the essence it has is admired by many people. Winters give you the time to indulge in various activities like snowball fighting, building snowmen, ice hockey and more. It is a great time for kids to enjoy their vacations and get cozy in their blankets.

There are six seasons in-a year. Winter is one of them. It is felt in India from the month of November till the end of February. It covers the two months named Pausha and Magha as per the Oriya Calendar. Normally, the days are short and nights are long in this season.

The winter scene is quite interesting. In the morning the sky remains foggy. There is also cold. Wind blows from the north. The sun appears very late in the morning. The sun light is also not hot. The weather is quite pleasant.

In any other season we become tired very soon if we do any work. But in winter we do not get tired easily. The village life is very dull in this season. Due to extreme cold people do not like to come out of their houses before sunrise. People often light fires both in the morning and in the evening and gather round the fires in order to get-warmth.

A WINTER AFTERNOON

It was 23 December 2020 in Germany. I went for a stroll with my body completely covered with winter clothes, just a day before Christmas eve. The ambiance was perfect.. each house decorated with christmas lights brought a special cheer to my mind. And as I walked past I could feel the cold breeze blowing. I walked a few miles only to find out the small stalls that have been opened. I walked near to a cafe and had a hot cup of coffee and a freshly baked cookie. It was delicious. I left the cafe and as I walked home I saw a beggar, I felt really bad for him so I decided to spent the last of my pocket money for him. I bought him a blanket, a pair of shoes and a cup of coffee. I couldn't get so much but I bought with What I had. I gave it to him, and in return he gave me a big smile. I was so happy, atleast I got to help someone and made his christmas a bit better. I sighed and went back home.
