{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{Given:-}}}}}

• Total length of wire = 80 m.

• The wire is cut in 2 parts.

• One is 16m more then another.

▪︎ Let the length of small part be x.

ATQ,

\sf\implies( 16m + x) + x = 80 m \\  \\ \sf\implies16m + 2x = 80m \\  \\ \sf\implies2x = (80 - 16)m \\  \\ \sf\implies2x = 64m \\  \\ \sf\implies \: x =\cancel  \frac{64m}{2}  \\  \\ \sf\implies \: x = 32 \: meter.

{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{Therefore,}}}}}

Smaller part = x = 32 meter.

Larger part

= x + 16m.

= 32m + 16m.

= 48 meter.
