Length of wire=perimeter of square

As we know that,

Perimeter of square= 4 × length of side

                                 = 4 × 22

                                =88 cm.

As the wire is reshaped and bent into the form of circle.

length of wire=perimeter of square=circumference of circle

Circumference of circle = 2 \pi r (where r =radius of the circle)

                              88  = 2 × (22/7) × r   (\pi =22 /7)

                              r =(88 × 7) / (2 × 22)

                                =14 cm.

Area of circle = \pi r^{2}

                       = ( 22 /7 ) × 14^{2}

                       = 22 × 2 × 14

                       = 616 sq.cm.
