Length of the rectangular shape of wire = 18 cm
Width of the rectangular shape of wire = 15 cm
So perimeter of rectangular wire = 2(18+15) = 2×33 = 66 cm
When this rectangular ire is bent in the the form of circle, then
Circumference of circle = perimeter of rectangular wire = 66 cm
suppose the radius of circular wire is r cm. So we have;
⇒2πr = 66⇒2×227×r = 66⇒r = 66×72×22 = 10.5
So radius of circle is 10.5 cm.
And area of circle = πr2 = 227×(10.5)2 = 227×10.5×10.5 = 346.5 0
