A wire in the shape of a square of area 36 cm square is reshaped into a rectangle whose breadth is 4 cm what is the area of the rectangle formed

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of square=36cm

a^2=36cm

a=6cm

Peri of sqare=peri of rectangle

4a = 2(l+b)

4(6) = 2(l+4)

On solving,l=8cm

Ar of rect=lb=32cm^2
