given the side of equilateral triangle = 240 cm .

since all the sides of an equilateral triangle are same . It's perimeter = 240*3 = 720 cm.

so the length of the wire is 720 cm .

when it is bent into a square its sides are

720/4 cm = 180 cm. = 1.80 m

Now the area of the square = side *side

= 1.8*1.8 m²

= 3.24 m²

hope it helps.
