A wire in the shape of rectangle whose width is 22 cm is bent to form a square of side 31 cm. Find the length of the rectangle. Also, find which shape encloses more area.

Perimeter of square=perimeter of rectangle

4a =2 (L+B)

4×31 = 2L+44

124-44 = 2L

80 = 2L

80 ÷ 2 = L

40 =L

Area of square ismore than area of rectangle
