Answer:

R = pl /A

p = restivity

l = length of wire

A = cross sectional area

but we have to find resistivity(p)

According to question,

R = 10 ohm

l= 1m

d = 0.2 mm

r = d/2 = 0.1 mm

0.1 mm = 0.1 x 10^-3 m

p = RA /l

p = R ( pi r^2)/2

p = 10x 3.14( 0.1 x 10 ^-3)^2

p = 10 x 3.14 x 0.01 x 10 ^-6

p = 0.314 x 10^-6

p = 3. 14 x 10 ^-7 ohm m

so, resistivity is 3.14 x 10 to the power - 7 ohm m .
