a wire is 1m long 0.2 mm in diameter and has a resistance of 10 ohm calculate the resistivity of the material ​

Given : l = 1m, r= 10 ohm, d= 0.2mm.

To find : Resistivity (rho).

Now , d = 0.2mm

R = 0.1mm

 = 1 \times  {10}^{ - 4} m

roh =  \frac{r \times a}{l}

as \: a = \pi {r}^{2}

roh =  \frac{10 \times \pi {r}^{2} }{1}

roh =  \frac{10 \times 3.14 \times  {10}^{ - 8} }{1}

roh = 3.14 \times  {10}^{ - 7} ohm \: m
