ANSWER

Given,A wire when bent in the form of a square encloses an area of 576 sq. m .

Area of Square=(side)2

or, 576 =(side)2

or, side =576=24cm

Perimeter of square= 4 × side

= 4 × 24

= 96 cm.

When same wire is formed into equilateral triangle, then perimeter of square is equals to perimeter of triangle.

∴ Perimeter of equilateral triangle= 96 cm

or, 3× side = 96 cm

or, side = 396= 32 cm.

Area of equilateral triangle thus formed =43×(side)2

=43×322

=2563cm
