let the side of square be x

we know, area of square=

 {side}^{2}

therefore \: 400 = {s}^{2} \\ \sqrt{ {400}^{2} } = \sqrt{ {s}^{2} } \\ 20 = s

We can say that side of area=diameter of circle

therefore,

 \frac{20}{2} = radius \\ 10 = radius

Now Area of Circle,

 = \pi {r}^{2} \\ = 3.14 \times {(10)}^{2} \\ = 3.14 \times 10 \times 10 \\ = 314 {cm}^{2}

therefore, Area= 314cm^2
