a wire is bent in the form of a square of side 25 cm. Find the length of the wire if the wire is bent in the form of a rectangle of length 30 cm, find its breadth​

Answer:

perimeter of the square P = 2(length+breadth)

=>P = 2(25+25) = 100 cm.

Here, perimeter of the rectangle will be same as the perimeter of square as it is formed by the same wire.

So perimeter of rectangle P = 2(length+breadth)

=>100 =2(30+breadth)

=>50 = 30+breadth

=>breadth = 50-30 = 20 cm.

So the breadth of the rectangle is 20 cm.
