A wire is bent into a circular shape of radius 7cm. If it is rebent in the form of a square, what will be area of square?

circumference \: of \: circle \:  = 2\pi r \\ =  2 \times  \frac{22}{7} \times 7\\  = 44 \: cm

If a wire is rebent from circle to square it's actual perimeter(circumference of circle) doesn't change.

Let the side of square be s

now,

primeter \: of \: square \:  = 4s

since, circumferent of circle is same as perimeter of square [because no extra wire is added].

therefore,

44 = 4s \\  =  >  \frac{44}{4}  = s\\    =  > s = 11

since, side of square is 11

Area is,

area \:  =  \:  {s}^{2}  =  {(11cm)}^{2}  = 121cm^{2}

therefore, area if square is 121cm².
