side of asquare=27.5
perimeter =4*27.5=110
then perimeter of circle=110
2πr=110
r=110/2π(π=22/7)
r=17.5cm

Radius of the formed circle is 17.51 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

A square has four equal sides. As the wire is bent into a square, all the sides will be 27.5 cm.

Now, perimeter of square is the sum of all sides.

Perimeter of square = 27.5 + 27.5 + 27.5 + 27.5 = 110 cm

Now, the wire is straightened and bent into a circle. Here there is no loss in wire \longrightarrow length of the wire is the same as before bending.

Circumference of the circle will be the same as perimeter of the square.

Circumference of the circle = 2Πr

Where, r is the radius of the circle.

2 \pi r=110

2 \times 3.14 \times r=110

r=\frac{110}{6.28}=17.51
