since resistivity is a constant it always remain same therefore their will be no change in resistivity
and if we assign resistance of wire as 3r then after cutting them equally the resistance of each wire will be 1r therefore new resistance will be 1/R =1/r +1/r +1/r
1/R= 3/r therefore R =r/3
