d = 56cm

r = d/2 = 28cm

area of circle = πr square = 22/7 x 28 x 28 = 2464 cm square

length of the wire = perimeter of circle = 2πr = 2 x 22/7 x 28 = 44 x 4 = 176cm

side of the square = 176/4 = 44cm

area = side square = 44 x 44 = 1936 cm square

therefore area of circle more than the area of square.
