Given A wire is in shape of rectangle

where

length=20 cm.

breadth=12 cm.

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

=2(32)

[Perimeter =64 cm.]

now of wire is bent in shape of square

where side =a cm

now

Perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square

64=4a

[a=16cm]

side of square formed is 16 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

LENGTH OF RECTANGULAR = 50cm

BREADTH OF RECTANGULAR = 20cm

  • perimeter of rectangular = 2(l+b)

= 2 ×( 50 + 20 )

= 2 ×( 70 )

= 140cm
