perimeter of circle=perimeter of square

perimeter of circle=2πr

=2*(22/7)*10

=(44*10)/7

thus, perimeter of square=(44*10)/7

therefore side=((44*10)/7)*1/4

=15.7cm

The side of square formed is 15.7 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A wire is in shape of circle of radius 10 cm It is rebent to form a square.

To find : The side of square so formed ?

Solution :

A wire is in shape of circle of radius 10 cm.

So, Length of the wire = circumference of the circle

i.e. l=2\pi r

l=2\times 3.14\times 10

l=62.8\ cm

Wire is rebent to form a square.

So, Perimeter of square = length of wire

i.e. 4\times \text{side}=l

4\times \text{side}=62.8

\text{side}=\frac{62.8}{4}

\text{side}=15.7

Therefore, the side of square formed is 15.7 cm.
