Radius of the circle formed=42cm
Thus its circumference=2×3.14×42=257.48cm
Now... its area=3.14×42×42=5538cm^2
We know that , all sides of a square are equal in lenght
Thus ...
Side of square = 257.48/4= 64.37cm
Now its area=64.37×64.37=4143 cm^2

On comparison of the area encl9sed by the wire in both Tye cases we see that the wire encloses more area when it is like a circle
