A wire is in the form of a rectangle 8.9 cm long and 5.4 cm broad. It is reshaped and bent in the form of a circle find the radius of Circle.

\huge{\underline{\mathtt{\red{A} \pink{N} \green{S} \blue{W} \purple{E} \orange{R}}}}

\huge\boxed{\blue{Given :}}

➣ First a wire is bent in the shape of a rectangle and After it is rebent to form a circle.

➣ Length of Rectangle = 8.9 m

➣ Breadth of Rectangle = 5.4 m

\huge\boxed{\red{To \: Find :}}

➣ The Radius of Circle

\huge\boxed{\pink {Solution :}}

➪ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( length + breadth)

⇒ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(8.9+5.4)

⇒ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × 14.3

⇒ Perimeter of Rectangle = 28.6 cm

 \:

➦ Perimeter of Rectangle = Perimeter of Circle = 28.6 cm

 \:

➪ Perimeter of Circle = 2πr

⇒28.6 cm = 2πr

⇒ \: r \:  =  \frac{28.6}{2\pi}

⇒ \: r \:  =  \frac{28.6 \times 7}{2 \times 22}

⇒ r = 4.55 cm

➦ So, the radius of the Circle is 4.55 cm..
